A Bold Claims Bear Extraordinary Substantiation
Buckport, Maine – In the municipality of Bucksport, a contentious battle has been ongoing between the owner of the Spring Fountain Motel and the Code Enforcement Agency. The agency has condemned the motel, citing safety concerns, and has been engaged in a fierce dispute with the owner. The Code Enforcement Officer, Mr. Luke Chiavelli, and the megacity director, Susan Lessard, are at the center of the controversy.
Despite the bold claims made by Mr. Chiavelli and other megacity officers, the motel owner has been able to provide a myriad of documents, reports, and witness testimonies that refute the municipality’s accusations. The owner has provided a structural evaluation that was conducted just last week, which concluded that the entire structure is completely safe, including the slanting yard to the reverse of the motel that the megacity officers constantly mentioned in their report.
Furthermore, the motel is not a fire hazard, as it has had no design changes from its original construction. The furnaces that the Code Enforcement Officer stated were not working were recently serviced by a plumbing contractor, and both furnaces were given an “A” standing for efficient capacity. The sewage system is in good condition, with no major issues identified. The electricity in the apartments is controlled by fuses, and all of the space heaters have programmed safety shutoffs to prevent overheating.
In addition to the evidence regarding his own property, the owner has also provided reports and renewals for two other motels in the City of Bucksport from the past three years. To our surprise, not a single examination has been conducted on the other parcels, and a note from the fire chief on one of the conditional licenses from last June indicates that the property urgently demanded an examination, which has yet to be completed.
Based on the documents provided by the owner, it is clear that the megacity officers were misled by Mr. Luke Chiavelli, whose inaccurate and fraudulent reports are just the tip of the iceberg. Mr. Chiavelli has been accused of mistreating one of the motel’s workers in the past, and this incident appears to have fueled his charge to destroy the motel owner’s business and character.
While it appears that the megacity officers were simply acting on the advice of a man with a vendetta, the megacity director, Susan Lessard, appears to have her own agenda. In a recorded discussion provided by the owner, Mr. Chiavelli admitted to not wanting to give an interview to any news outlets regarding the state of the motel, and he further claimed that Ms. Lesser forced him to not only do the interview but to lie on record.
The owner of the Spring Fountain Motel is calling on the Code Enforcement Agency and the megacity director to retract their condemnation of the property and to issue a public apology for the damage they have caused to his business and reputation. The owner is also considering legal action against the agency and the director for their unjust actions.
